This 1947 Commer Comando is awesome.

Wow would that be some kinda awesome to restore, modify and modernize. I'd keep the patina and then put in a great new interior and a new drivetrain... now let me go to the store & buy that Lotto Max ticket to fund the endeavour

Oh this is pretty...wonder if it falls on Bubba's list of things he'll (never) buy with his (never happen) lottery money...
1970 Super Bee - only $50k for a single guy - chump change!!  And a 600 hp 440 4spd car too - get that Costco gas card!!

More affordable...1987 T-Bird - and this one is AMAZING on gas...and only $3500.

Also like this one...same guy who last year had this one and a yellow ragtop - both for $12g IIRC (as a set - not individually).  Might still be OK at $9500 - or as my son likes to think of it: $9500 for a $4000 car.
1994 Mustang GT

I dunno, I like it.

$50k and three pictures?  No way, José.

"1970 Super Bee with a new 440 dinoed at 600 horse. 4 speed. White interior. Rust free car. Nice staight body."
Where's the "dino" sheet?  Can't spell straight either.

But Bubs...it's a Dodge...what more did you expect?  If he could spell he'd be driving a Ford or Chevy product.  ;D  :stick: :run:

Edit: Or possibly like AB he was using Siri and doing the speak'n'spell thing.

Edit #2: Nah...it's #1.  ;D

To me that's the holy grail of 4Runners. V6, stick, sunroof, leather. Goddamn.

So I love S14s, had an S13 years ago that I also loved, but bidding is up to $15k for an automatic with bad paint and a damaged hood. Just 40k miles and the very rare Deep Fuschia Pearl paint though. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1997-nissan-240sx-9/

Pretty cool car.

I always look to see what is new at Costco every monday online.  This came on today and thought I would share as I think it's a cool idea for people who like to go camping.

Could see someone putting this on top of their off road rig and getting deep off the beaten path.

It's all well and dandy, but now whenever you want to move the truck, you have to take the tent down.  Why not just pitch a tent on the ground?

If I had to...shudder....tent camp again, the whole being off the ground thing is a definite win for me. Also if you had to move across the campground or something, why would you need to take it off???
Lighten up Francis.....

I'm talking about driving 30-40 minutes to go on that hike to the waterfall, or to transport the bikes to the trailhead, or whatever your reason was for going camping in the first place.

Yeah, those truck tents are pretty sweet. We introduced them at CT maybe 2 years ago and they've been very popular. Like Fob, if I HAD to camp, being up off the ground is a bonus, and i agree that you could move the truck around the campsite without having to take the tent down....but on the road, no way. Great for festivals/events too....seeing lots of these pop up in the campgrounds at CTMP, etc.
Course, if you're sleeping 'in' the truck, why not just save the hassle and sleep in the cab  ;D The only time I've gone camping, back in university, I ended up sleeping in the cab of my Sonoma....Way more comfy than some sketchy tent.
