Beautiful car and a great performer.  This example needs some TLC, but it would be money well spent.

Now that is a gem! Super rare car!
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Oh...that Saab, so much much want. The 240 needs to be a wagon/2 door to be desirable imho

Oooh, very nice.  A Holden Monaro.  It's sad that Pontiac was discontinued shortly after offering this car.  But at the same time I'm happy this was the swan song of the brand.

Although Chevrolet continued to offer the Monaro in the US only rebadged as the Chevrolet SS.  It was basically this car with a Chevy badge on it.  I prefer the styling of the G8 GXP to the Chevy SS though.

I'd be happy with a copy of either one!

That V6 is a dog/lifeless and the auto is clunky, drove a few of these in my day as a GM sales rep. Appliance car with so much wasted potential.

The Chevy SS always looked like a Malibu that took roids, and the looks totally ruined the car for me. Looks like a rental car, and not in a good sleeper kind of way either. Would get the Pontiac version 11/10 times.

Yeah, I definitely like the SS better than the Pontiac version.

I think the Pontiac G8 GXP was better looking than the SS mostly because I can't stand the Chevy's chrome trim. But at least the SS wasn't unobtanium like the GXP, especially if you wanted a manual.

I find this ad funny. First of all. A 1988 anything at a dealer? Its a brown, slightly ratty Taurus missing its hubcaps.

A Genesis is not a Kia, kind of like how a Festiva is not a Fiesta.  :rofl2:

Maybe for $299.80 not $2,998.00.

I actually had a '88 Taurus many moons ago. Mine was a wagon. Bought it for $450 after the previous owner knocked it off axle stands and drove itself down the street and through a fence. Sold it after the wife refused to drive it.  :rofl2:
