1968 Dodge Charger with 225 Slant-six and Three-on-the-tree!
https://barnfinds.com/rare-225-slant-six-1968-dodge-charger/

Nice colour and I like the wheel covers

Top bid is $31,600 USD.  I hope whoever buys it, leaves the powertrain as-is..

Very cool, but weird that the engine & tranny aren't numbers matching to the car? For that reason alone I don't think it will stay with the slant 6 in there. If it were all numbers matching then it would stay as it sits, but since its not, I'd put a new 6.4 Hemi in there with the 8 spd & have an awesome daily driver.

Numbers-matching isn't a big deal for me.  The engine and trans could have been pulled and replaced while it was still at the factory, for all we know.  The VIN does decode as being built with the 225 slant-six.

But you're not buying it Bubba, lol... so whoever does will probably pull the drive train & replace it. Could keep it all though in case someone wants to turn it back to stock. My buddy bought a 73 BMW 2002 with a newer M20 engine swap & tranny, but he got all the old stock pieces included with it.

I wonder if all those people with confederate flags on their cars are going to have them repainted...

If they are in the south, of course not.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

100%. Numbers matching or not, slant six and 3 speeds, directly to the local scrap metal dealer and a modern V8 and 6 spd manual in its place...followed by some proper suspension, brakes and steering. I don't get this fascination with numbers matching unless its some high hp V8, secret squirrel, factory drag package. Some lame ass I6 or small V8 with an even lamer 3 spd auto, beer money from the recycler.

Lighten up Francis.....

^^ I'm bonkers about that unicorn Charger, I would keep it as-is - you see more and more hot-rods and restomods with straight-sixes. Definitely trending.

And getting more out of the Leaning Tower of Power is a fun challenge!

Fantastic Survivor! '83 European market Celica ST, very low mileage, manual and twin carbs! Greek seller offers it at No Reserve and free container shipping to any port!

and for dessert, this stunning L88 4-speed L88 'Vette from 1969, currently sitting at 351k$  :o

That is actually kinda cool.  Probably as good or better build quality than an original (j/k) with better electronics to boot! (not/k)  For $3500-4,000, I'd drive that for shits'n'giggles.  That's baller on a budget cool.  Some plastic gold bling from the Dollar Store...who'd know the difference?  ;D

I know Bubs will want the Bat Man car...I can just feel it's more his thang.
