That actually looks like a decent B for the $. If it were within a few hours of me I'd grab that. Not worth the transit from MB though.

And with you here...what better car to buy seeing as there's someone with plenty of knowledge on the intricacies and issues these little FBC's might have!     And such things as where to get new dash pads etc. 

Too bad my wife hates Miata's...but this would be kinda fun...just slap a 302 in it...right? An LS would probably fit...or an old Taurus SHO V8...or leave it 4 cyl so there is more than one more day...


Oh - and that Dart (from Bubs), that's perfect.  The pics are flatteringly taken.

I'm not much of a Lexus fan but I have a lot of respect for the GS F simply because it's the last naturally aspirated sport sedan on the market.

Given the change in cars I would think that a lot of these "last hurrah" V8 cars will be collectible in the future. I would assume there won't even be a naturally aspirated engine on the market in 10 years let alone a V8.

From what we read from the manufacturers, in 10 years ICE should be as scarce in Europe as manual transmissions are in NA right now.

It has almost the same interior as that Mustang...but for whatever reason, it looks better.

And one for the F-body types.  Not a rag, but just 'cause it looks good.  It does have t-tops though, that counts, right?

Buddy i work with is selling his old Elantra GT. similar to this.  His is the top model with leather heated seats, in top shape too, no rust maybe 160K.  2 sets of tires and only around 160K.  wonder if i should by it for probably around $2K  and sell the lexus.

I liked the looks of that generation Elantra.  I recall getting 28 mpg at 75 mph when I rented one for a Fargo trip.  Nice to drive around town.

Those GTs were fairly nice for their time. Dunno if I'd want to drive one these days though.

My sister had one, and really liked it.  These Elantras, which were introduced in 2001, were styled after the facelifted Euro-Corolla that hit the market in 2000...

Normally, I'd turn my nose up at the colour, but geez, it just suits that car so well.

Some designs are simply timeless -- this is one of them.

It's amazing how BMW has had such incredible highs for styling (this, 507, etc.), and such cruel lows (Bangle era, current era..    )
