Love that color combo, I just had a same vintage Z/28 convertible in that shade. And its tricky to clean Lt1 engines because if you get the stupid Optispark wet you'll have huge headaches, might takes months for the gremlins to pop up, but they will if it gets wet and also leave you on the side of the road.

I'm so used to my Fords...spray with cleaner, rinse...wipe off the excess water and continue to drive - like if you had gone driving in the rain.  Can you "bag" the unit and wash the engine? Or are Chevy's just generally averse to water?

Good looking car.  I can find no info on the 318 having a 4 bbl carb in 1978.  I wonder if the seller made the change himself.
