Hmmm...a reg old black on black on black 1994 GT convertible...$12,000
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/winnipeg/1994-mustang-gt-convertible-for-sale/1520446614

Just look how clean this looks.

And my kinda guy! (or gal) - the engine bay is even pretty!

But it's an automatic...so...there's this:
1994 Cobra convertible, also $12,000 - it's gotta be a stick right?
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/winnipeg/1994-mustang-cobra-convertible/1521320590

My favorite wheels (FR500's) AND a supercharger...for the same money as the other one...hmmm...tough call...
Both old 5.0's so LOTS of performance parts still available.

Or...for less you can get a Vette of the same vintage which has to objectively be a better car overall right?  And wonder why people don't notice they got the wheels on wrong...
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/brandon/1992-corvette/1512500578
$9900

Or this '94 for roughly the same kind of money
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/saskatoon/94-c4-corvette-lt1-engine/1521169356
With the wheels screwed up even weirder.

Either car would be fun though.

Those Vettes look like good buys but it’s too bad they’re automatics.

I was looking for a specific picture (for something else) and found this...from 3 - almost 4 yrs ago:
https://www.autos.ca/forum/index.php?topic=92693.2020 (near the bottom of the page)

Not a lot of price difference from then 'til now but you got a 2 yr newer Vette...also with the wheels bass ackwards... ;D

Sometimes you gotta love the hated cars.  300 hp probably isn't THAT bad, plus it's a small block Chevy...only 1 camshaft and some breathing enhancements and you're probably easily well over 400.

The only flaw in those is the vast majority of their original buyers were over the hill types that believed manual transmissions were for commies and finding a decent manual isn't easy. I like the C4, C5, and C6 way more than the C3 or C7 and C8, to me, a C6 Z06 is pretty well peak Corvette.
Lighten up Francis.....

I've said this before, but a Polo Green/tan C4 with the LT1 and a 6-speed is right near the top of my list for additions to the fleet when I have more parking....

Yeah, pretty incredible. I'd want a C4 Grand Sport as well.

A friend of mine has one of them, used to bring it into work.

Yes, I looked a few C4s.

Even drove an auto which wasn't too bad IMO.

I wouldn't need a ZR-1, Grandsport, or anything fancy like that. Just a base LT1, I'd like the 6-speed just for some contrast to the other V8 Automatics I have in the fleet, but I agree with Ron that the Auto is actually pretty good, especially since the 6-speed is marginal as far as clutch and shifter feel go.

First, more parking....then more junk  :)

Yep...exactly what I was going to say....the 6 speed isn't that good.

I drove one auto with a performance torque converter...and it was really quite good...and probably the way I'd go in a convertible...GT vibe and all.

If I win Lottomax tonight, I'm buying this car and putting a personalized plate on it that says "BRENTLY".  Lovely colour combo.

If you won the lotto, you'd just buy a new one.

FGC?
Bentley is part of VAG, and they are German so I'd lump Bentley into FGC's.

A Pinto trucklet. Maybe not how I'd convert but cheap.

I love everything about this Corvair except for the wheels and price tag but I could learn to live with the wheels.

Speaking of price ... $60k for a V8 swapped MG B

I like that Vette, a lot! Good price too, especially for a stick. If I had a spot to park it I'd be in, we could've done an Autos.ca relay or something to get it back to ON.
