My Dad would love that, but not for that money...

I do not like that cop car.

I 1000% agree, I hate that Joe Dirt rake. That needs to be lowered at all corners and lose those stupid side pipes. Do love the hellkitty swap though.
Lighten up Francis.....

But it's period correct.

That's how they did it back in the day for street racing.

The real problem is the front wheels are on the ground.
It's parked on grass, it should be at a dragstrip displaying that those wheelie bars aren't just for show.  :shake:

It looks like a HotWheels car

It's not that they did it wrong...there was no other way LOL.

Jack it, traction bars and drop the front. Hope the crappy tires hook a bit more.

Didn't have too many options back then....

There is no reason to look back on those days with rose colored glasses....bring that beiotch into the new century inside and out. Shitty tires, drum brakes, 8 track players and carburettors aren't exactly something to look back on with fondness.

Well you could say the same for any classic auto....

I'm ok with period correct mods/accessories (louvers, etc)

I'm one of those resto mod types. I see no point in spending tens, or hundreds, of thousands of dollars in restoring something that is easily outclassed by a modern Camry in every way. Yes, even the classic Ferraris would be improved with some fuel injection and some modern suspension...oh, and wiring.

I've seen just as many questionable restomods in my time..I find many of them poorly done.
