PCV valve is built into the valve cover! New PCV? You're buying a new valve cover at $400 US.
Subframe mounts ripping out, head bolts breaking, plastic water pumps, 1500 pcv valves, trannies that write off the car, main bearings at every third oil change....like its just terrible.

Mind boggling really.

Japanese designs: usually elegant in their simplicity and reliable.

German: Needlessly complex and unreliable.

Shame...I really like some of these cars...but the stupidity in them drives me nuts.

PCV valve for the Sonata?  As low as $15 at NAPA.  Replaceable with basic hand tools.

Hmmm...not sure my Fusion even has one...never replaced one anyway.  Oil, oil and air filters...cabin filter...drive it. 

So, is it crazy I kinda want this?  Still.  This is probably the 3rd (most definitely) or even the 4th year it's for sale (I bet it's even posted in one of these 280+ pages...maybe more than once over time)...should get my bro to go check it out. But he wouldn't know what he's looking for or at anyway.  Looks like they spent no time on the interior, but I'm kinda diggin' the 90's (?) surfer/tribal wallpaper-vibe.

Some Volvo's also use a very complex PCV system, it plugs up and basically causes all the important oil seals to blow, lovely system.

The price of that Datsun doesn't even seem that bad. I wonder when it was built. It's kind of cool as a relic of '80s/'90s car culture.

1.4 is, 1.5 not really from what I have seen. GM shops all have a few valve covers on hand for the 1.4, just for the pcv.
