These cars still look great, imho.  Their performance couldn't back up the looks, unfortunately.  That is a gorgeous shade of red.

Sebring convertibles are everywhere here in the Okanagan. They still look decent to me, a good value too, quick search turned up a 2005 with 90K for only $4500. Can't beat that for a low mile drop top.

Saw a nice brown convertible one today

I don't think the convertibles shared the coupe's chassis.  I'll have to look that up.

Not really. It's just a funny observation from the show, as that specific car actually gets called out in the show script.

Come on, man.  A GTI is the automotive equivalent of a sport scooter.

And dude, I was just replying to your criticism of my car in the other thread. Give and take eh.  :P

Picked it up. ...new  in the box.  Now I can chuck my old one. Yhe guy had a mint saturn Sky.

Don't chuck it if it still works, occasionally an additional jack is handy.

If I'm changing wheels on my Cayenne, I use two jacks and pick up the whole side.

Very cool. I remember these from Europe.

What sort of engine would it have?  I don't see $5k worth of car there.

Probably a little four cylinder. Its mostly novelty value. Not worth $5k to me but neat.

Sebring / Avenger coupes were built on a stretched Eagle Talon / Plymouth Laser / Mitsu Eclipse platform. The 'verts were based on the "cloud car" platform, ie Cirrus Stratus sedans.
