That Simca is quite cool, but perhaps more up Mr. Dent's alley.

2005 Lexus LS430  204,000KM  $10,700

No Levinson sound or Navi but the guy sounds like a knowledgeable owner and the car has regular, no-air suspension which is a plus in an older vehicle.

Are you implying that this car has a no bump ride?

#vradwood took place yesterday. Virtual car show of 80s and 90s cars and culture. Within a few hours, there were over 1000 cars. Everything from Chevettes to Lambos and Lancias. Rad culture is booming. Couple of guys here could have posted their rides too. If you have Instagram, worth a scroll for an awesome walk down nostalgia lane. I made my very first Instagram post to take part with the Alfa. Had to Google how to make an Instagram post   #vradwood
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Is the owner died and succession put it on sale?

My younger brother bought one used X-11 for $100, drove it a year and half without problems but it was a bucket of rust, on its last days. Interesting car period the transition from propulsion to traction with a very small footprint but surprisingly spacious for its size.

An '82 Citation 5-door with the H.O. V6 was one of the two cars my parents had when I got my driver's license.  The other was an '83 Sentra 4-door.

The X-11 is rather forgotten today but it was the hot ticket when new.

I sort of want a boogie van for sure reason.

As a former owner of a Fox Body...that's just stupid.  That was an $18-19,000 Cdn car new.  Ish.  More money than brains I guess.  :P

Thats ridiculous. You can get a used, 400+ hp, IRS Mustang used for that which is a better car in every imaginable way. Definitely way more money than brains

A brand new GT starts at $35K in the USA.  Guess they really wanted one from 1992.

The Fox Body's are 30 years old.  They're classics now.

To put it into perspective:  A 1989 Mustang is to 2020 what a 1969 Mustang was to 2000.  And a 1969 Mustang was certainly considered a classic car in 2000.

You're missing the point.

Do you think it would have been crazy to pay $20k USD for a 14k mile 1964 Mustang in 1992?

Since it's a 1992, it's halfway between 1964 and present day.

So when that 1992 Mustang was new, a 1964 Mustang was the same age as the 1992 is today.

I don't know.  I do know that classic cars can go for huge money.  That being said, I suppose there is some element of desirability.  A 1964 or 1969 Mustang is certainly a desirable car.  Is a 1992 Mustang as desirable as one of those?  I don't know.  Somebody else certainly thought so.

Something is only worth as much as somebody is willing to pay for it!

I'd much rather have a 1992 5.0 LX than a 1964.

No one is buying a 1992 anything because it's the better car. These are nostalgic purchases. Maybe they had one in high school. Maybe they always wanted one when they were new but couldn't own one for whatever reason.

I suspect that it's also very uncommon to find a clean Fox body Mustang. They went through the cycle of being bought by kids who beat on them and/or poorly modded them. So if you really want one, you need to pay up because the choices are slim.
