As I posted on BaT, makes new trucks look like wimps ![Grin ;D](https://www.autos.ca/forum/Smileys/CarTalk/grin.gif)
As a kid our family car was a newly-bought '74 Cherokee (yes, I'm old
). Always loved these trucks, tough and purposeful.
I’m old too. My best friend’s family had a ‘77 Wagoneer, just like this one.
Ours looked a lot like this one, same blue but two-tone with white roof. Base model, same stripe, but white background. Same wheel covers. 360 2-barrel, quadra-trac, no frills - black vinyl interior, no a/c or nothing else. I think it got 8 mpg around town, but it was unstoppable in the snow. When snow crews would push snow into a central snow bank for snowblower removal, my Dad would jump through these snowbanks for fun!
