There were a few buy-backs with early Leafs here. Real-world winter range on early cars was 70 km... I know of a few people myself that got rid of nearly-new Leafs, including the current gen.

You want the 2016+ SL or SV model IMO.

I think of the Jeep Commanche as the original Gladiator...

^^And?

I know what you mean.

But I meant vs. the 2020 Gladiator.

Commanche and new Gladiator are both mid-sized.  They should have called the new one the Commanche IMO.

Original was a full sized (for the time).

But yes...that's an original ORIGINAL Gladiator.   ;D

That's a neat car. I bet its the same 2000cc diesel engine our old Toyota shop forklift had.

Our family had the 1986 gas version.  Reliable and economical.  My dad has purchased nothing but Toyotas since.

I owned a 1986 gasser briefly. Was a bit of slug with the auto. The diesel would be really slow. My sister in law wrote it off shortly after getting her license.

As I posted on BaT, makes new trucks look like wimps  ;D

As a kid our family car was a newly-bought '74 Cherokee (yes, I'm old  :-\ ). Always loved these trucks, tough and purposeful.

And rusted as fast as any old good 70's American car...

Friend had one...damn that thing turned to powder.  He also loved(s) it.  I think he might even have the remnants of it lying behind his garage.  Grandiose dreams of restoring it someday...lol.

If I was going old truck...I think I'd prefer one of those Dodge Powerwagons.  Those are very cool.
