Price is a bit insane for a car with close on 320,000km.
I'd rather be car-poor than house-poor...

Half that would be fair.  Good luck finding a sucker to drop $5K on it.

Ok, 1989 Ford Taurus SHO, clean and asking $6,900.

That car phone is so period correct.

Love the way he tried to make the carpets look all professionally vacuumed with the alternating stripes...should've stuck with not.

I want to say crack pipe...and part of me feels nostalgic and wants to drive one again.  IIRC I had well over 300,000 km on mine and I never opened it up...no valve adjustments...never replaced the clutch...and at times I drove it like I stole it.  Hated that I went down to a single exhaust (was a poor dad took a new job that paid 2/3's  :'( wah) because it sounded so good as a dual.  That engine would be soo sweet in some kind of rear engine'd kit car.  But...so many other cars that are better looking and faster (new Corolla probably? Wait, that's too new) that the lean to crack pipe is getting heavier.

This
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

1974 Ford Maverick stripper sedan with ... 66 miles on the odo (not 66,000, just 66!!). Driven from the dealership, placed in the garage and never used again - weird story I bet!

Hard pass on that.  If it was a 2 door Grabber and a manual, maybe (or hell yes!)...but a 4 door?  Feck no.  Too much money for a winter beater/smash'em'up derby car.

I'll take this one if we're talking BaT old and useless...it's ugly and has every right to be.  And way cooler than an old Mav.

I'd rather a light resto-mod of that car than pretty much any current BMW.  Do an old M6 driveline and just do some tweaks to the suspension and brakes.

My mother had a 77 comet 4 door with that engine.

Completely unremarkable. But I’d buy it for $250.00

Would love to have this.

Gorgeous Restored '69 Corolla Packs Lexus IS F Power

Restomodded Perfection
Since its inception, enthusiasts have essentially worshiped Lexus' naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8. That engine lives on today, but unfortunately not in the Lexus IS F. But it is the motor that powers this pristine, restored 1969 Toyota Corolla owned by Javier Quirós and built by renowned racer and tuner Ryan Millen.
