It’s a Cosworth.  Only 3800 or so built, RWD, 0-60 in 7.7 seconds in 1976.  Not bad...

Someone likes it.  First bid was $5200...

It's still a junky Vega.  Neat, but not worth much to me.

I was following this high-km rusted floored 911 in Ottawa until the price went beyond dream beater level. Odometer stopped at 358,000 km, actual km unknown.

Current price for beater 911s are usually $30k....

You were close - sold for 27.5k$  :)

I thought it would go for more, it wasn't really that bad.
I think the price of more "regular" air-cooled cars is cooling.

This is an odd beast...

A university classmate had a Ford Fairmont two door version with the three on the tree.  That would be insanely rare today.

1996 Honda Accord EX Wagon

If it had a manual, it would be perfect.

Always liked these but they were rare even when new.

Reminds me that when this gen Accord got a V6 for the 1995 model year it actually had a completely different front end to accommodate the larger motor.

When I was shopping for 911s almost 30 years ago I considered buying one of these, but then thought it would stretch my budget too much, so I settled on a 911SC.

The RS is presently at $500 000 USD    :P

Wow, a real RS. I think as little as five years ago you could maybe have bought one for $250K, but now they're true collector cars of the wealthy.  I understand RS clones can be over $100K cars if well done. For a fake!

Cummins 67 Mercury

I betcha  Catherine McKenna wouldn't own that ? ;D

Or Greta Thurnberg.  :P

Except for the noxious and obnoxious smoke, it'd be kinda cool.  Great on fuel, stump pulling torque.  What more could a classic car buyer want?  (other than a newer turbo engine)

IIRC, in the $40-50k range, maybe less.

Which probably seemed outrageous at the time. Hindsight is 20/20

A 5.9L Cummins is what, 1100lbs?

Even the porky 426 street hemi is under 800lbs.
