This thing is nicely done...

That is a very nicely done Gen 2 'Maro.  Subtle resto-mod with a very stock appearing exterior with some pretty nice mechanical choices.  Very much how I'd do one.  I'd like to see it in person, but just from the pics, the body looks shockingly well done.  Those cars had HORRENDOUS quality control.

It is well done, just would rather see an LS engine in there as they just seem to run that much better & still get great gas mileage in comparison. This was the one that I thought was done great... but it never sold... https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-chevrolet-camaro-12/

Well, at least it only has to be a small lottery win.

I drove an AMG C43 coupe years ago...didn't feel like 300 hp.  Felt like maybe half.  Gutless but, this still looks super cool, might even sound it.

How's this compare to rrocket's?

My neighbours car.  I'm thinking hard sell...kinda ugly IMO.  He never drives it.  Getting too old, and he's always too busy.

$13K for the C43 is at least $4-5K too high. I’ve driven a few and they felt as fast as my 276hp C36 so the car you drove must have had issues. I still prefer the inline six cars though. They sound better.

For some reason I didn't think those were sold in Canada.

The price is on the high side, but the car is probably going to sell for close to that. He's done all the right work on it and there's easily $3K you won't have to do, plus it's got wheels and tires, etc. it might take time to sell, but the right buyer should come along. It's one of the best written ads I've seen. A true car guy.

Yes they were as I remember seeing the odd one at Lexus dealers when new. Just think they were auto only.

Anyone else notice his "summer car."  Guy had good taste. I say had because now he's going down the used Audi rabbit hole...   :D

I think for the condition and the scarcity, plus features like the LSD, the price is not ridiculous.  I love these.

It went for a little over $31k USD.  Pretty darn good buy at that price.  8)

$8500, is that good?
I know all of the silver fox bearded Alfisti will recoil at this, but I have never been a fan of the Spider/Duetto. Does nothing for me really, too dainty.

Their old convertibles are even daintier.

You dislike those too?

not really, they are more befitting the era they were in, like Italian takes on the classic British roadster

wouldnt own one nor have a desire to drive one, but they are pretty
