Gotta love how he puts Cummins, Duramax, Powerstrock, Hemi in the ad so anyone searching those will find his car.  Because Diesel Bros want an old 5th Ave - for their wife or GF of course.

Not sure what to think of this, some of the mods are decent, but others not so much... I'm thinking it won't do as well as it would have if it was completely stock, but I guess we'll find out in 6 days.

2006 Land Cruiser, I've seen this around town and thought it was still looking fantastic.  At $24,500 seems a little steep for a 13+ year old vehicle, but I know there is a cult following....

Talked to a buddy from my PCA days and he was saying late the 911 air-cooled market is already showing real signs of well, cooling off.  Seems that the days of the $150K 930 models are gone, with some recent sales in the $60-70K range, even for superb examples.

Rare cars and special models seems to be still fetching big bucks, but the standard air cooled cars are dropping fast.

I know someon that paid just over $100K for an 87 Turbo last fall, and he's banking on selling it for a big profit this summer.   :o

The 930's have cooled off a bit, last few on BAT didn't meet the reserve prices & were bid to $75 US range. 993's are still in the $50k+ range tho & 964's are holding steady as are G50 cars.

Yeah, it seems the days of making big profits in no time are over.  I'd only be buying one now if I knew I wanted to keep it, valued the car at the price I was paying in terms of my personal enjoyment, and didn't bank on trying to make money in the future on it.

Yup, totally agree! At this point breaking even on one after 5yrs is probably the best to hope for.

Problem solved, and better condition too! Big surprise: it's a 318, not a slant six. Bubba, you have 47 minutes left in this no-reserve auction, now standing at 2,045$ !!

150hp and 255ft-lbs of torque from that 318. I was curious so looked it up.

We've come a long way.

This week's 302 tester is 460/420  :drv2:

...but that beige sedan is waayyy lighter than modern vehicles. That's healthy torque for the weight class.

Do any Honda motors have that much torque?
