Calling Mr. Dent...please save me!!
1968 Datsun 520 - it's already torn down, but he's offering to part it out.  These parts should never be separated.

Then there's this...I'd remove the cap, lose the massive subs...maybe new wheels, but keep the gawdawful paint job for nostalgia.
I like the "Spring SALE! Price reduced!" - hey buddy, you've been trying to sell this thing for 2, maybe even 3 yrs now for the same $4500.  I aint seeing that reduction.

Or maybe this since I'm on a small truck kick...an LS S10...looks racecar. Maybe a bit on the high $ide,

I like it.  ;D

Something adventurous for john's daughter.
1965 Chevy Chevrolet off road camping van, $22,000 - pricey, but it'll get her everywhere she needs to get.

I've been tempted by that Datsun 520 - I need to buy stuff in better condition these days as I don't have a tow vehicle anymore.

I've always preferred Firebirds over Camaros and these two look great.

If he does, he is no longer on the show. In fact he has his own show.

Was just going to post this one!

The 15 y.o. in me wants this so bad! Never mind the critics, I MUCH prefer the 1979-1981 nose to the previous one. The "fit" is better than the '77-'78 shovel nose, which always looked not quite right from 3/4 view.

I had a 1979 Camaro and I like the plastic nose cars from the end of the Gen 2 run.  Either that or the very early cars.

Those Gen 2 chassis are actually a very good starting point for building a shockingly fast car, even handling wise.  The interiors are crap, but you can just call it “retro” and live with it.

The issue of course with the last few years of the Gen 2 GM pony cars is the weak drive lines. Even the 400 Pontiac engine is tepid and just doesn’t motivate the car worth a crap.  Luckily a lot of things fit in the engine bay.

I generally liked the look, especially the duck tail.

Those wavy plastic front ends though. QA/QC was dodgy at the best of times in those days, but those plastic front ends ranged from bad to terrible.

Just like any other kid that grew up and watched smoky and the bandit, I want a T/A to live out my Burt Reynolds fantasies, but to me, this was the best looking Firebird

There is or was a blue one like the white on in town.  4 spd too.  Retired US customs officer, bought it after he got back from Vietnam.  He passed away a few years ago, I'm often tempted to ask his wife if she still has it.  It sounded beautiful, like an old muscle car should.  I too have Burt dreams...

Was doing my usual browsing, just looking at manual trans vehicles, and stumbled across a couple of what might be real winners?  Say if you were shopping for a reliable piece of transportation or for your first car.
Only Toyotas this time around...told my youngest he should buy this one.  Can probably sell it in 4-5 yrs for almost as much if you take care of it.  Would be a great first car for a kid who doesn't care much about cars (but wants a Focus RS for some reason )
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/winnipeg/2002-toyota-rav4-suv-crossover/1433161122?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
2002 Toyota RAV4 $7000, 131,550 km - actually looks like it's in mint shape, surprised it's been on for 7 days...maybe it is over-priced.  I dunno.  It is a Rav though...

Then there was/is this.  Hog heaven?  Fob heaven?  Everybodys heaven?
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/winnipeg/1999-toyota-4runner-sr5-v6-4x4-5-spd-manual-no-gst/1432663617?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
1999 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4 - 5 Spd Manual $8995 - also looks to be in pretty decent shape.

And for shi#s and giggles, there's always one idiot who is, just an idiot.  It would be rude to email him and ask if one of those numbers was accidentally inserted into his price, but sometimes don't you just feel like it?  Is it the 2, the 5 or one of the 0's that's wrong?  Like price is right only the other way.
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/winnipeg/1981-toyota-pickup/1433397004?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
1981 Toyota pickup  $2500

But hey, it's a Toyota truck, and it's manual.  It aint even worth what a scrap dealer would pay for it.

What an odd car to do a restomod on.

Those 2.8L were something like 135hp weren't they? Probably as much as that poor old thing could reasonably handle.
