I've never seen one of those before (the turbo).  Still see some X-Trails around here, the styling has aged well.

I agree.  I see them around at times too.

It’s JDM (says so in the kijiji ad).

JDM has many interesting cars to offer. Some time ago I dreamed of importing a Mark II with less than 100,000km. Still would do it if it wasn't for stupid ON insurance.  >:(

Not a bad price for  a 97 . Probably an American car though because I don't  believe  we got that colour here.
Also looks like a cloth top which looks much better to the standard vinyl version.
Not  a fan of those rims either.

You probably did. At what point in the season did you buy and how many km's were on it?
With miata's prices can be all over the place. You definately have to look the older ones over due to rust.
Some owners don't clean out their softop drains which lets water get into the car leading to corrosion problems.

I bought it early August last summer.  It had 190k.   I did have to catch up on some maintenance, but nothing bad.   It does show some wear and tear, but again, not bad.
Haven't found any rust yet, fingers crossed.

Sounds like a good one. I especially like the blue colour on the 99 10th anniversary edition.

That blue paint job is the main reason it made it into my garage, Lynn's favourite colour.
Can't wait for some warm weather to get it out.

Haven't looked at the Miata market lately, but for some time the NAs were priced the same as the newer NBs or perhaps even higher.  The NCs were screaming deals though, you could get an early NC for not much more dough than a pristine NA.
