^^^  Completely agree. Cars are made to be driven. Okay, he's not daily driving it or anything, but Nico Rosberg actually takes his 1955 300SL out on public roads and drives it. And he drives it hard, even.

OK, the UK one isn't pristine, it has  $25,000 more on the odo, but it's 2 years newer, with alloys...

Never got the fascination with those and the willingness of people to spend so much money on them. Sure the 110s are cool and all, but not at that kind of money. You can buy a used Jeep Rubicon for far less money, used, and have something thats way more reliable and capable.

And CAD 60K will get you a 2009 G-Klasse.  Perhaps not much more reliable than the Defender, but way more comfy and very capable, and way newer...
