Sunday time wasters...stuff I like.

I owned a '69 Caprice, same colour, same vinyl top...paid $450 instead of $18,000 US... :P  Mine wasn't as clean, but it was a blast once we broke it in.
https://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/d/rittman-1969-impala-custom-coupe/6782842814.html

How about a '64 Rambler Classic wagon for $11,000?
https://mansfield.craigslist.org/cto/d/bucyrus-unique-64-rambler-classic-wagon/6782561959.html
Interior needs a re-do, but otherwise kinda perfect.

As a kid I thought these were pretty cool.  Big FWD car with a BIG engine. Nasty colour.
1968 Oldsmobile Toronado Deluxe
https://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/d/farmington-1968-oldsmobile-toronado/6778366631.html

I like old trucks and I cannot lie...an F100 would be so fly...
Sure it needs work, but it's already got Vette suspension so it's well on its way to awesomeness.  Too bad it's not a unibody.
1964 Ford F100 Street Hot Rod Project C4 - $6000
https://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/d/alliance-1964-ford-f100-street-hot-rod/6771669667.html

This one's for Bubba, seeing as he's such a Mopar freak. So ugly it's cool.
1964 Dodge Dart 270 Wagon - $16900
https://grandrapids.craigslist.org/ctd/d/grand-rapids-1964-dodge-dart-270-wagon/6781254687.html

One of my all time favorites...surely the pictures lie just a little bit.  But it looks good in them.
1972 CORVETTE STINGRAY 350 4 SPEED - $19500
https://grandrapids.craigslist.org/cto/d/albion-1972-corvette-stingrayspeed/6764765662.html
It's perfect...red...side pipes...4spd...small block...proper looking wheels on it.  Not too big and not too modern looking.

'nother classic favorite.
1970 cutlass 442 Convertible - 4 speed - $18900
https://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/d/cleveland-1970-cutlass-442-convertible/6775335754.html

But which one!?  Prefer the wheels on the one above.
1971 Cutlass Convertible - $20000
https://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/cto/d/detroit-1971-cutlassconvertible/6760175694.html

Rich for a 6 cyl?  Looks sharp.
1966 Chevy pickup stepside - $14500
https://kalamazoo.craigslist.org/cto/d/soddy-daisy-1966-chevy-pickup-stepside/6747443243.html

This almost can't be real considering what people want for '71 MACH 1's or Camaro's and Firebirds.
1965 Corvette Coupe - $48000 - I'd take this any day of the week.
https://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/d/syracuse-1965-corvette-coupe/6764984261.html
Just look at it...  Fudge this is nice...

How about a ratty old Tempest? On a Vette chassis?
'61 Tempest - $5500
https://tuscarawas.craigslist.org/cto/d/ripley-61-tempests/6773972321.html

So long as the '67-68 hood is a direct bolt on, it's gold!
1972 Chevrolet C-10 SWB Pickup - $17500
https://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/d/1972-chevrolet-10-swb-pickup/6780871939.html

Who doesn't love grandma's car? I love grandma's car.  A 454 with a 700R4 trans...it'll probably even get 12 mpg!! And look cool doing it.
1960 Chevy BelAir Big Block - $16000
https://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/d/novi-1960-chevy-belair-big-block/6782981668.html

Ooo! Another one for Bubba.  Even has the venerable slant 6 in it!
1970 Dodge Dart Swinger - $13000
https://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/d/bloomfield-hills-1970-dodge-dart-swinger/6782677280.html

Was never a fan of the '69 Camaro, but sometimes they just look right.  And he's dropped his price almost $3000.
1969 Chevy Camaro BB 4 speed - $33,900
https://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/cto/d/port-huron-1969-chevy-camaro-bb-4-speed/6780423688.html

And last but not least, a 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 - $10,000
https://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/d/wixom-1964-ford-fairlane-500/6777671908.html

And that's it...'til the next time...hell I got two more days off...might be back tomorrow with another state's list of unaffordables now that our dollar sucks bag at 40% more than asking... :P  Maybe Ontario Kijiji has some good stuff.

Plenty of these for sale for 10-15K. 365 HP, AWD, TTV6, with a tune they go into the 400HP range quite easily. Might be a fun land barge to play around with!

IIRC the drivetrain cannot handle the increased power beyond stock in one of those - diffs, tranny...something was weak

and nobody should drive these, especially in white, blue or black, because they give the rest of us heart attacks thinking it is a cop

let them all rot
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Lol, stealth speed in a cop-issue dark blue Taurus! They are pretty strong, lots of guys running Livernois tunes over 400 hp with no issues even at high miles. The PTU likes to blow seals and aside from that mt quick research uncovered no real weak spots. Some running 500+hp have transmission issues.

I think one would make a fun daily driver. One heck of a sleeper too!

https://grandrapids.craigslist.org/ctd/d/grand-rapids-1964-dodge-dart-270-wagon/6781254687.html

The 1965-66 Darts have a more attractive front end, but this one is still cool.  They certainly have the stance right.

Ooo! Another one for Bubba.  Even has the venerable slant 6 in it!
1970 Dodge Dart Swinger - $13000
https://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/d/bloomfield-hills-1970-dodge-dart-swinger/6782677280.html

Seller is asking too much.  Great looking car, though, love the colour combo.  The head work along with the four bbl carb would make this car a decent performer.

And last but not least, a 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 - $10,000

One of my favourite mid-60s Fords.  I'm spoiled by the Thunderbolts with their 427 cu in monster, so the 260 would have to go..

Car nuts should watch Dennis Collins' YouTube channel. It's awesome because there's no Richard Rawlings, and Dennis loves interesting cars of all eras and types. Oh, and his shop is doing Hellcat Rubicons.

I agree, good channel, and Dennis seems to be a great guy. I actually visited his shop when I was in Dallas on business last year, met Dennis as well who took some time to chat about old cars with me.

When I was a teenager a guy I knew built a beautiful 1964 2-door Falcon out of a 4-door and also kept and built the stock 260,   it was plenty healthy for what he wanted and obviously different.
I bet it's still alive down east somewhere.
