I was inspired by that lovely GS430 rrocket found, and now saddened that it is offline...so I thought I would look locally.  And I found a sweet deal!
2003 Lexus GS GS 430 $2,995
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/winnipeg/2003-lexus-gs-gs-430/1362634383?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

From the ad:
This vehicle is being sold “as is” not in road worthy condition, with no warranty or guarantee. The vehicle will require significant repairs, not limited to only the following:- Anti -lock braking system(possibly not operational)- Airbags(possibly missing or not operational)- Engine, transmission and or powertrain-Subframe- Suspension- Computer equipment- Electrical system- Fuel operation system-Air conditioning- Windshield- Brakes- TiresWe recommend the vehicle be towed away at the buyers expenseBuyer Beware. This vehicle is being sold 'AS IS' for parts only. NO WARRANTY, NO GUARANTEE. Further, the vehicle is not in road worthy condition, and should be towed off the premise.

No...wait...what?!  ??? They have a $300 car max if you took it to a wrecker, and they want $2995!?  Fack...if I ever felt like hitting the reply button on Kijiji and sending a big fat LMFAO emoji...facking nuts.

Maybe there's a better one... :P ::)

I like the white one. Awful pricey for 10-17 y old cars.  Then again they were pricey new.  Guess I don't need to look (got distracted  ;D) now.

2018 Dodge Charger Enforcer (Police) V8 AWD with 2,314 km bidding from $28,000.

https://www.gcsurplus.ca/mn-eng.cfm?snc=wfsav&sc=enc-bid&scn=315389&lcn=462883&lct=L&srchtype=&lci=&str=21&ltnf=1&frmsr=1&sf=ferm-clos

NO!

I get enough heart attacks for no reason from people driving white/black Explorers, Tahoes and Chargers. You are afraid to pass them, afraid to speed a tad with them behind you, etc.

Cop cars should be bespoke and not able to be driven by the general public.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

I've seen a few Edmonton police service Camry Hybrid "ghost" cars over the last while. Sure, they're not pursuit vehicles, but for routine traffic stops, probably more than enough performance. I would imagine the fuel savings would be significant compared to an Explorer.

If I'd been pulled over by one before seeing that model in action, I'd sure be leery that I was being hit by a fake cop!

...and the Camry V6 wouldn't be a half-bad pursuit vehicle.  That new engine is a real honey.

Even the old Camry V6 (268HP) was no slug....

Rad era cars are really shooting up in popularity and price right now. I think that is what he is trying to capitalize on.

Here you go Shane!  It's not red, or a cabrio, but it is a V10 with a manual.  This thing looks just right imo.
