I always thought the Firebird was better looking than the Camaro.  This is a great example.

I get that.  The ‘67 and ‘68 Cougar were sexier than the corresponding Mustangs...

As a young lad of 5 years old, I fell in love with the Cougar's sequential turn signal.

Didn't the T-bird get them first?

I forget...they were all within a couple of years of each other.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

For me I think it’s that menacing ‘face’ - no ‘eyes’ make it dark and sinister...

I believe the T-bird did get them first ('65 model year), but I was too young to care.  :)

I've been looking for a set of these wheels.  Unfortunately, this seller has only two and uploaded pics of the same wheel.

Manual hubs, clunky lever for 4X4, 5L, no air, no cruise, cart springs in the rear and swing axles (Twin Traction BeamTM) in the front.

Those swing axles were decent off road but were a huge PITA to keep straight down the highway.

Mine seemed to track okay. Some were poor right from the factory and couldn't be easily fixed from what I remember. I rotated the tires often which might have helped. Not a great suspension really.

I have two older Ford's in my fold right now, a 99 and 03 super duty's, both with the famed 7.3 diesel. Boy, have we come a looonnnggg way in trucks in a few short years. These old Fords are NOISY (but I kinda like the marbles in a tin-can sound) rough riding, sloppy steering, underpowered beasts.
