sooo tempted at well under $10k...store it for a year and a half and she is legal  ;)
Can we flip it for a profit in a year? I'd go halves then [emoji16]

I would assume so, the GT is popular and sought after elsewhere...

But honestly I have no idea...money and cars is voodoo to me. Some crap cars are worth fortunes, some amazing machines (at least in my eyes) still can be bought for pennies...
Well get on it & figure it out buddy, let's flip some for profit, lol!!!

It will cost $12k or so once all said and done.

How many people will pay more than that to make a profit?

considering its condition, rarity, the return of Alfa to Canada, and the price of its competitors...I could say a few?

Again, I dunno. I just know I want one. I would certainly pay $15k for a super stylish, low mileage, beastly V6 coupe with a huge trunk and big back seat.

If only to shout down the puny A5 and 328i at the lights lol...

If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Sadly FWD?

I think I prefer the looks of the one that reminds me of a TSX...the 159?

yes, sadly FWD...but I don't mind as they had LSDs as standard and good roll bars. It also was styled by Bertone.

the 159 is the sedan, this is the gorgeous Brera if you are talking coupes...those are too new right now, and they had the wrong engine (GM block with Alfa heads etc.). The GT was the last to have the mighty Busso V6, so its value will be up just because of that. It, in my mind, is a future classic.

No, I meant the sedan.

Reminded me of a first gen TSX.

This is clearly a classic case of a wife nagging at a husband to get rid of one of his toys, and the husband making an effort to sell it.

Oh to have disposable income...or as my kid says: if you'd quit looking at new trucks...you could have one of these in a couple of years! Meh...I dream too much...if I could do it all over again...I'd at least keep and/or buy more of the cars I wanted when I was younger and they were in the affordable spectrum.  In the mean time...2 dream cars.
Affordable-ish variety, and local, too!  Damn I love these things...
1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, $14,000 - not bad I'm thinking.
Just needs Olds Rallye wheels http://www.moibbk.com/images/oldsmobile-wheels-5.jpg

And ho damn is this thing ever beautiful and I love it and I love the colour and I love it...I'm in love...
1969 Corvette Stingray Coup 427 - $37500

I have always loved the early C3 Corvettes.  They're actually a decent platform for building a pretty enjoyable car.  The interiors are hard to stomach, ugh, but if you get them back to new-ish condition, they're okay.  The black interiors have aged the best, imo.

One great thing is the high percentage of manual equipped cars.

That big block/4-spd car is not badly priced at all.  Nice condition numbers-matching L36 4-spds are typically $40K or so cars.
