Never ever for a single second believe you’re not bidding against the owner/dealer at Regal. It was that way with live sales never mind how easy it is to hide behind a computer screen now. Can’t count how many vehicles say “SOLD” @ $xxxxx only to be back at next weeks auction.

100% dog and pony show. Unfortunately most auctions are like this.  >:(

This looks so simple compared to what's available today.

That makes me cry. My truck was similar but an extra cab.

Takes me back to my Mazda pickup too. Maybe the Maverick's success will bring back small cheap pickups

I would take that over modern interiors with screens every day of the week.

Bubba...it's local!  And the guy is Rocky Mountain High!
1983 Rampage 2.2 $3800. 2 too many zeroes, or one too many 8's...and the 3 also has to go.  Delusions of grandeur have gotten out of hand.

Huh...Kijiji images no longer had the little ebay tag in the url.  Cool.

The Rampage 2.2 was quite a 'ute back in the days! I remember Car and Driver redoing some of the performance testing as the results were better than a contemporary Ferrari's - either slalom or braking, can't remember.

Deserves saving, but with that rust and the niche appeal, $380 is more like it.

An uncle of mine had two of these growing up (not sure why two), both manuals.  As a kid I found them fun to drive.

Do you  reasonably think he would sell it for $380 though ?  My guess at that price it will sit there blending into the environment.  ;D

Needs a turbo 2.2 and a 5-speed.  Not worth the trouble.

Nope.  I couldn't sell a virtually rust free (early 2000's) running and driving Taurus with almost new tires for what the tires cost.  $600 tires...sold the car for $400.  And I'd sooner another Taurus than this thing...he'd get more at a recycler probably.

$3800 is not too high for a Rampage ... but it is too high for that Rampage. Maybe half as a project?

^^ Agreed, that's why I made the comment . It was directed to Blueprint though as he made the $380 suggestion.

There is a  Shelby Charger more local to me for about $3500 that appears more reasonable. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/683936843696938/?ref=search&referral_code=null&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A9353a6da-f072-4897-9c6a-29e9c66e186e

Wow, used to have nearly the exact same truck! Only difference was mine was one trim level higher. Looking back I gave it away of course. Had a 98 GMC at the time (which was 5 years old) and it felt so modern and refined in comparison. Now it must feel like an old rotary phone in a world of iPhone 20’s lol.
