If only I needed a winter beater, this would be a pretty good option.

https://www.autotrader.ca/a/toyota/4runner/hartford/new%20brunswick/5_52181252_20181204135051496/?showcpo=ShowCpo&ncse=no&orup=1_1_1&pc=E3A%209R6&sprx=500

I mean it has a V8!

Kinda odd how a Toyota dealer uses a 16 year old, 262 km V8 SUV as their service loaner.  ???
Well they might have different service loaners depending on what a person has in for service.  Maybe if you have a highlander or 4runner they use this, but if it's a car they have a Corolla/Camry for those folks.

I would argue that it is a great advert for Toyota reliability.  Also, this dealer located in the middle of the farm belt so not like they would have a lot of suit and tie folks bringing vehicles in for repair.

Hmmm okay maybe. Some people wouldn't be happy hopping from their 2020 Highlander Limited into that 4Runner but what do I know.

Wow, those are like $5K-$10K in the UK, that's some mark up. And it's not even the STi version.

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202107185183923

That would be $23K CAD.

But...they make this promise in bold print!  :P ::)

That van...damn...you'd need to do $15k in work just to get it less ugly!  Check the exhaust!  WTF!?

I was about to post that wagon for Bubba too...beat me to it.

So...how about some Schitty cars?
A 1979 Lincoln Continental for $5000  Low k's too...wink wink.

This one's closer what with the rear opera window - 1976 Lincoln Town Car for $7600 - and it has EFI so you KNOW it'll be way better on gas than the '79!  ;D

This guy's on crack or he slipped and hit his head on his Hyundai...or maybe he's just old. (if it has 2 doors...it's a sports car)
Sports car??  I think not.  ::)
Classic Sports Car $3300 (for a $300 car) - a 1975 LTD

(that is a Hyundai isn't it? )

Mmmm...classy! 1969 Cadillac Eldorado
A little heavy on the red though...

And last but not least...one of the coolest wagons ever made.
A 1968 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser for $4900...and all the time and money you need to make it 100%.

3 sets of wheels...too?
Favorite - hands down.

3 cars in 1!!

I wanted this minty 1990 Prelude at the sale today. Prepared myself that it would probably bring $5-6k Sold for $10k even. I’m not surprised really, things are just nutty in the car market.

^^ Was it a 4WS ?

This guy wants 10 grand for his 1983 gen 2. Trying to get back the engine refurbishing maybe.

I like the gen 3 with the fuel injection as an option as opposed to the two  3 barrel carbs.

I had an 1986 with fuel injection.

Those are getting rare but aren't a 10K car to me at least. I think the fact that I lot had piles of vacuum lines and carbs lead to their demise. Shame as they are good looking cars.

How in the F is that a $10k car...  >:( :P  No accounting for taste I guess...more like $1000.  Someone's head was up their arse that day.  My little brother had one of those as his 1st car IIRC...maybe it wasn't an Si, and maybe it was a couple years older (hard to know - looks the same) but what a POS.  Timing belt did it's thing at 100,000 km just as Honda planned.  I should ask him if HE thinks it could ever be worth $10k  ;D

Yeah, I actually dig some of those wild Corvette custom paint jobs....It was a whole scene in the 70's. I'd drive that thing, Firm Jr. would love it too as he's developed a bit of an obsession with Mickey Mouse (who's on the hood here for those who didn't spot it). $65K seems rich though, nice examples seem to be trading around that mark recently. 61/62 were my least favorite of the C1's...C1 front end with the C2 rear end, just looks weird to me sometimes.

Not a 4WS. I’d love to have a clean one in a 5 speed. Yeah, I’m not sold on it being a $10k car either. But I’m sure at some point some old codger thought a Hemi Satellite GTX wasn’t a $10k car….

The 80’s - 90’s stuff is gaining in popularity.

Yes I have seen those done much better.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Odd colour as well. Sort of like primer plus a clear coat. Not sure I'd want that roll cage on a street car.
