Twinzie to my car in Nova Scotia:

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1975-triumph-tr6-73/

That's already really good money for that particular car IMO....she looks shiny but she's rough. Rockers are wavy, missing the finishing strips and painted gloss instead of the pebble black, someone has rigged the grill into place with some homebrew fastener system, frame looks OK for a TR6 but questionable in a few places, engine bay is just full of ugly overspray. If I can spot that in 1 minute flipping through photos there's a lot more wrong with that car...Goes to show that the market on these is not slowing down...

I noticed a few of these too, and IIRC while there were many Mimosas lately on BaT, this one started life in another colour. But the basic lead pic - Mimosa over black, blackwall and roof rack - recalls mine a lot!

A properly restored / maintained one went 27k USD on BaT lately...

Agreed, it looks great from 20ft away.  :rofl2:

A manual, RWD 2010 BMW 328i wagon with the M-Sport package just went for $38k on BaT.  :o

This is basically the unicorn spec amongst E91 enthusiasts. Le Mans Blue was only available with the M-Sport package. People also prefer no iDrive, although that's not my preference.

Which is fine, if priced accordingly.   A too perfect car can be a place of anxiety that leads to not driving it much.
I'd rather a driver than an investment. (but I'll take both)

I rear-ended a Mercury Bobcat (Pinto twin) with my VW Beetle. No explosions and I lived to tell the tale.

Between the Pincat's explosive rear tank, and the Bug's front-mounted tank, that could have been quite the spectacular crash.

Found a set of Mustang wheels on Kijiji...told the kid...he started the communication process at the end of June and the guy was slow to respond, so we thought it was probably a BS ad...3 days later, gets another reply (took about 12 days start to finish - probably why no one else bought them??)...turns out it's real, made arrangements while we were camping...and he went to Wpg and bought them.  $350 for all 4.  Basically brand new take offs...helluva deal!  New winter wheels.
