^^ Lots of rust showing on that car. And it's not just surface rust.

Yeah. Would require a serious investment to properly fix and paint the body. So maybe better as a donor, although I hate the thought of destroying an M3/4/5.  :-\

Would have to see the underside to really get a good appreciation for what it needs. The M3's had extra subframe plates in the rear that other E36's didn't, which was a weak point on the regular cars when you wanted to track them. It would probably make a decent track car, spend a bit of cash to get it back up & running, rip out the interior to lighten it up, install some camber plates in the front & you have a quick car around the track that could take a beating.
You live everyday. You only die once....

That white interior is amazing.

I think it would look great with a blue exterior.

Stumbled on this very sad $4k M3/4/5 last night.  :'( Could make a good project for someone to return it back to stock. Or take that S52 and swap it into something else...

Theres gotta be a law against doing that to a proud M car!!
Lighten up Francis.....

Peak Pony? Almost $150k for a Hyundai Pony? Its the bigger 1.6L but auto. 22K kms.

Short of a full blown, WRC spec Accent, what kind of brain damage do you have to be to pay that kind of money for a Hyundai?!?!?!? Its a Pony, like one of the worst cars ever made, up there with a Yugo or a Stellar.

1986 was the starting year of Hyundai assembly plant construction @ Bromont, QC (operated between 1989-1993), so that 1986 Pony probably being built in South Korea, no historic value  ;D

 Nah... that is an analog clock (you know what it is, right ?  ;D) not a tach, except the odometer has only 5 digits, so you can roll it over more than once to have only 22k kms again!  ;)

Scaerio, you're right, I forgot what model was build there, so my comment still stand, this '86 Pony still has no historic value because not build in Bromont  ;) Not even close to the $149,995 asks by the seller!

Yes. Very fast and high on want list for me.

F my life. Been reading lots on them. Seem fairly reliable except for a major flaw.

The AOS (aka PCV valve) fails...very prematurely. And also the turbo filter screen set up is bad. Clogs easily. The failure of either frequently resulting premature turbo failure. $10k US for the whole job if you need turbos.

Like FFS, Audi...why such a stupid PCV set up? Oh yea...it takes about 9 hours to tackle the job. And while you're in there you're 100 percent checking the screens and vice versa. FFS...stupid German engineering.

Fortunately, someone makes an aftermarket remote filter set up so you can clean them at every oil change. $650 US.

But that doesn't alleviate the AOS failures. So 9 hours labor and $400 in parts as low as every 40k kms. Going rate seems to be about $1500 US.

Just a huge SIGH.

Liquid filled engine mounts fail early (60k kms seems normal) and some suspension bushings fail early too.

Facking Audi...

Thats why I don't get the hard on for FGCs, seems most of the highly prized ones all have a major, and deadly, flaw

Even in the facking TT!

PCV valve is built into the valve cover! New PCV? You're buying a new valve cover at $400 US.

The old ball type pcv have worked forever and are cheap.

Not good enough for Audi though!

Chev 1.4T and 1.5T are the same way. Same price too.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Subframe mounts ripping out, head bolts breaking, plastic water pumps, 1500 pcv valves, trannies that write off the car, main bearings at every third oil change....like its just terrible.
