Something else, a bike model dated from my younger years: No Reserve: 1968 Honda CL90L

Amazing!   But I thing I'd rather have a sedan rather than a vert and only if I lived in France.

Calling Firm!

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1983-chevrolet-monte-carlo-3/

That's a beauty, but 83's sucks for a SS. They had bench/column shift, the dinky mirrors, ugly rally wheels, and the rear fascia was like the normal Monte. I had a 87 SS when I was 18, loved that car. I remember well taking a trip to Spokane Washington with my girlfriend (that became my Wife) in that car with the t-tops off the whole trip, we got pulled over a total of three times on that trip, all US cops looking for my missing front plate which we don't have in Alberta lol. I bought that car for only $3000. I ended up trading it for a Chevy Blazer 4x4, after one winter driving the SS I was ready.

I'd sure love to have another. think the body lines are just beautiful on them. Those cars seem to be only two ways, mint or beat, not much in between. They also had a real problem with frame rust. I've seen many with decent body's but have a swiss cheese frame. Nice ones are sure coming up in value. I expect that 83 to hit at least 15K.

Off I go to looksee if there's any for sale locally!

Ahh the 80's...I remember distinctly one of those coming up behind me in my '85 Anniversary T-Bird...I punched it as he passed...and I could not catch him.  Set me on the path to a 5.0 Mustang shortly thereafter.  Both would get beat by my Sonic now probably, same-ish HP and my car weighs less (what, 100 lbs maybe  :rofl2:).  Surely I have more top speed.  What that car needs is an LS if ever a car needed an LS swap.

More 80's nostalgia...friend of mine had a minty '83 T/A, black and gold, perfect for a kid who just graduated.  We were coming home from Wpg and a Turbo T-Bird with a couple of girls from North Dakota passed us...he thought "no way!" - but they walked away from that T/A like nothing.  He also traded up to a 5.0 GT shortly thereafter.   We made spent too much money in/after high school.

Nice car, though that seems rich even for American blood.  $2500 US, sure.  It's still a 16 yr old car.  Probably couldn't get $4500 Cdn for it.

The rear bumper needs a repaint.

Why, did you drive that one too?

Like the tan interior. The roof isn't tan though. I was considering doing this combo in the  Smurf miata which has  a similar shade of blue.

Over the years of production the TR6 had many interesting colours. You don't see this much anymore. Although the Toyota Tacoma has a  few ,along with Subaru and the Crosstrek.
