Too much money.  That window tint would have to go; looks like the light lenses have been darkened - don't like that; the GTS plastic would hit the bin as well.

Some people shouldn't drive.  If you can't drive like an a-hole safely, don't drive like an a-hole.  I was a class A a-hole, never got near a tree.  I just can't remember any of it so have to rely on my younger brother to remember what I did for me.  30+ yrs will do that to you eh?  ;D

Dang!  Every time I think I find the one!  >:( Otherwise you like it, right Mikey!?

Only $10,000 too much... :P Those were ugly then, they're still ugly today.  Much rather have an LX.

My co-worker is looking at one this week, silver LX, notch, 408 stroker, 5 lug, 6 spd (yes, 6)...and he called about one in Thunder Bay which I can't find, which had such a pretty engine bay I wanted it. But...damn, even they're shooting up in asking prices... :P  Then again...been there done that, would I really want another one? (probably, if it was right...like the silver one - video of it starting...https://www.facebook.com/584981092/posts/10156354123251093?sfns=mo )

I've actually always liked that body style of Mustang.  It's 80's Chic.  And the 5.0L in those things always sounded great, even if they didn't actually make a bunch of power.

The fact that it's an automatic kinda ruins the car, though.  A Mustang like that has to be a stick, or no deal.

So did they ever build notchback GTs? I can't recall ever seeing one.

Love a good clean notchback LX 5.0 though.

No, only hatchbacks and 'verts. I also prefer the clean looks of the LX 4.9

27 ft-lbs or so difference. Given the better performance and fuel economy, I don't miss it at all.

Thought the 5.0 had 300 lb-ft. But the GTI/GLI motor is underrated anyways.
