As a side note: A 2013 model is almost new?  It has low kms because it's been in the shop for most of its life.

I am the lone voice of support. I would rather the Abarth over the Mustang too  ;D
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

To each their own, know a lot of happy Abarth owners that have high mileage and highly tuned cars and are happy. But to you all Lexus/Toyota faithful, it all falls upon deaf ears  :rofl2:

And as for a "FWD bucket of bolts", it is perhaps one of the most fun small cars I have ever driven other than my Mini. You forget about some chance at unreliability when the smiles per mile are that high. It drives with an eagerness that makes you smile, and sounds like it has a huge personality for such a tiny car. Love it.

Can't do that in a Fiat!  ;D

I love small cars, Mustangs are huge compared to my old '89 5.0.  I'd be that guy...I'm too aggressive for a Mustang.  :P

I'm not a big Mustang fan, but I'd take one over the Fiat every time. Instead of a the Fiat sign me up for a hot rod Focus or Fiesta, or a WRX or GTI or Miata. Lots of cars that I'd take ahead of the Fiat.

I’d take the Abarth.  As much as I love them, too many douchebags drive muscle cars...  Also why I’d never own an STI, GTI, R-Type, AMG or M, or most of the other performance models and ranges from manufacturers, aside from Polestar Volvos and Abarth FIATs.

OK - I’d make an exception for this STI...

Hey I listed a number of Eurotrash brands famous for their popularity among the douchey set!

And I said ‘too many douchebags drive,’ not ‘only douchebags drive.’

Well if we’re gonna fight by posting a totally non-comparable FIAT, then I give you the 1980 WRC Manufacturers Championship winner...

How about the inspiration for the Miata.  But, will it work?  And will it/can you make it sound nasty?

A buddy of mine has that same Rover V8  in his TR8. His came from the factory like that. Not sure if the MGB came like that. Firm probably knows for sure. Only made about 150 HP. Has a nice engine note , as you are expecting a 4 cylinder. Kind of a nice surprise.

I briefly had a TR8 - lovely engine rumble.

They made a few hardtop MG B GTs with the V8 as well as the later RV8. A factory V8 is rare.
