Its even a crew cab, talk about a sensible family vehicle. Plus, you will never lose it in the parking at West Edmonton Mall  ;D For $40k, thats not a bad deal with all the work done to it.

Unimogs are so cool. Years ago when I worked for Freightliner I had a brand new Mog for a day to enjoy, loved every minute of it and it attracted attention like crazy. Went with the district rep on some crazy off road trails, thought it would tip for sure on some of the crazy inclines we did but the Mog was solid as a rock. Very capable and also very expensive.

 It has this cool feature where you can flip a lever and send the entire steering/pedal assembly to the other side of the cab....instant RHD!

Looks like it. It was a good deal IMHO. I mentioned above I owned a similar one but four door, stick shift, diesel. Oh and rusty. A friend of mine still owns it although he painted it a light yellow colour.

I've always wanted one of those.  Almost bought a 390 4 spd car when I was 18 or so.  Didn't.  Then about 10 yrs or so ago I had a line on a blue or a white 2 door post car.  Both needed work, but they were $600 US for the pair...and the guy who found them worked at a body shop so I could've probably gotten at least one on the road for a decent price.  But...failure to germinate... :P  I'd still love one, but for all the buts.  :(
