I like the red rock responder...but 37" wheels?  Winter tires would cost me a fortune  :rofl2:

I think if these are to be 'concepts', the most outlandish (sorry for the pun) should be favoured over the paint job and roof rack on the Renegade.

The Desert Hawk Renegade makes the unit more palatable minus the decals. Also like the Staff and Africa but the Red Rock reminds me of a Hummer pickup variant.

Not wheels.  The tires have an overall diameter of 37".

I like the first three JEEPs.  The Chief, the Staff Car, and the Africa.  I think if I were to put it into order of preference, it would be Staff Car, Africa, Chief.  Out of the three, the Chief would probably make the best Daily Driver, the Africa is the one I'd want for overland expeditions, and the Staff Car I would take to car shows.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

The Chief brings back a whole wack of memories for me, as when I was a kid our family car was a '74 Cherokee 2-door, in the same colour combo with the white stripe. It was low to the ground and had a 360 2-barrel V8, 3-speed auto and QuadraTrac. Unstoppable in the snow and got all of 8 mpg around town.

Ours had the full wheel covers like this one:

Red Rock Responder and Chief     :lick: Too bad about the V6 in both vehicles, at that weight and for actual offroading, the Hemi would have been a much better powerplant. Either way, those are some sexy concepts...too bad Fiatsler isn't about making Jeep cool again.
Lighten up Francis.....

The Jeepster is cool, those other things bring great shame to the Jeep name.

I was thinking about low COG build with a linked suspension, one ton axles, a NP203/205 doubler t-case and some nice 42" Super Swamper Iroks with an fuel injected AMC 401....  ;D

I love everything about the Africa: the colour, the full face steel wheels, the jerry cans, the higher roof... Not to mention the diesel!

diesel in the chief..... god.... would so much want. even v6, i love it.

this is my favourite "showing" of the year... always a couple jeeps that i fall in love with.

oh and forgot to mention... the "wheels" are 37".... the tires are 37" which are on rims... which make up a wheel. at least to me!

Caught a glimpse of the Chief and the Africa on my way to get groceries. Looked pretty good as I drove by. Stopped on my way back for a close up look, but they were gone.

Turns out Jeep only keeps them on display from ten to six. Doubt I'll come back tomorrow. :(

Oddly enough, of all the stock vehicles they did have parked at the display, a black Patriot was my favourite. :)
