Very nice! You got lots of bang for your buck there!  Awesome color, too.

Yea, it may seem heavy, but the CoG is so low the weight disappears and feels significantly lighter than what it is.

With the tall screen, you must be in a bubble of calm air, eh?

There are lots of fans for these that have put up huge mileage...so if your aim is to do lots of mileage cheaply this is a great option.

A set of 26 gram sliders will be a perfect fit for you...and the best $75 you'll spend.

What type of mpg are you getting?

All those keys on there makes my eye twitch...LOL. [emoji23]

The passenger would sit pretty high from the looks of it.

It's not perfect but I'm not picky. Bikes get dropped as early as minutes after leaving brand new from a dealership. It's mostly stuff on the bottom fairing, few blemishes on the cowling and such.

Oh a scooter. Did you sell your bike?

You seem disappointed.  :rofl2: The buyer is picking it up on Saturday.

We decided not to buy a second car here but I needed some practical for day to day hence the scooter. We're planning on doing family dirt bike lessons this summer if the situation allows it.

There are a few 100,000+ mile Silver Wing owners, it'll be a lot of riding but I aspire to get to that. I just filled for the first time this morning so I won't know about fuel consumption numbers for a little while yet. I'm expecting 5 L/100km +/- 0.5.

The weight is mostly insignificant now other than manuvering it with the engine shut off and I'm comfortable doing full lock U-turns on it now. I'm fine with the acceleration as is honestly and if I had to make changes, I would put in 28g Dr Pulley Slider to get a slight drop in cruising RPMs. From what I saw with people who went with lighter sliders, they're shaving fractional seconds off the time, but causing the V-Matic light to come on. Not worth it IMO.

I'm about 3" too tall for this windscreen so the wind buffetting hits the top of my helmet, but it's not bad. I am mulling around getting a sport windscreen around town.

There are only 5 keys plus a little flash light lol, but it must be the 5 rings that are making you twitch.

Thanks! Maybe, we'll have to test it out. Only my oldest kid has been riding with me in Canada so far.

21/22 is far too light.  Am not surprised there are issues.

26g are just right.  They give the same drop in RPM as the 28g, but improve lower RPM response.

That windscreen looks huge!  Are you looking above the screen or through it? How tall are you anyways?

I'd check out the Givi Airstream screen.  It's adjustable.  In the low, it's similar to a sport screen.  In the high, it's like a tall windshield but the dual screen makes for less turbulence.  Had one on my Burgman.

Kappa makes the identical one..and it's usually less money: https://www.kappamoto.com/Screens--spoilers/Airstream/KAF214

The Kappa and Givi are almost the same price on Fortnine. Not a huge priority for me anyway since I already have a windscreen. I do look through it and wind doesn’t get in my eyes when my visor is up. I’m 6’-1”.

I have my R3 for a few more days. I should take it out for its last rides.

That’s a nice colour. Mine is more of a burgundy. It’s called Apple Candy Red but i don’t think that’s an accurate description.

So 80km since my fuel fill up and I still haven’t lost the first bar.

i would think with "normal" driving (not too hilly), you'll likely get 300-325 kms on a tank.
