It could lap the 'Ring faster than an F1 car and run 9sec Qs, it will still be mostly bought by people that will be driving with purse-dogs on their laps.

Which is precisely what Porsche wants.

True, but that doesn't mean it isn't an extremely well-engineered machine that delivers on the Porsche promise of surprising dynamic capability.
