Not gonna lie, that post kinda made me want one...

AWD?  Check.  Ground clearance?  7.9".  Moar Powah?  330hp/370lb-ft!  Luxury?  Yo, guy, I got yo back (and thighs)!

I don't want to know the price of entry, though.

SirO, how's Lincoln's recent reliability looking?

Last year we saw the MKC compact crossover. Based on the Ford Edge Escape, this proved to be a very credible effort.

The MKC is based on the Escape, the MKX is based on the Edge.

I think they finally have the grill pretty well integrated. Everything else looks pretty good.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Was at a funeral recently and the lead vehicle was a Lincoln MKX. The rest of the fleet all had the same front end. Will never look at one of these in black the same.

Yup, Lincoln is on the right track. I am actually finding some of the new Lincolns to be more stylish than Cadillac...did I just type that?

I noticed that as well - Cadillac also suffers from the same thing.

Sorry, just noticed this.

Pretty good for the current MKX. Almost all solid red except for brakes (average/below depending on year), body hardware (same) and the infotainment (Fords all get dinged for this, but it's mostly ergonomic issues, not actual reliability issues).

I really like this design...I am missing an 8-speed transmission to help with fuel economy and MyLincoln 3.0! Hopefully these will be addressed before it hits the market in 2016.

Price is an issue, if prices are kept in line with the current MKX, I believe Lincoln might have a winner!

That cannot happen because a loaded MKC is more expansive than the current loaded MKX...
