Fack. Soon we will be back in the 1950's when they refreshed models every year.

I like the new 6 but the CX5 looks a bit...off now.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.

Did I miss it or is the price of the 6 GX missing from the article?

Dumb that you can't get satellite radio in the CX-5 unless you get the GT with tech package.

This is definitely the trend. It's a pretty exciting time for buyers. The competition is fierce and the manufacturers are battling it out to offer more and more for less and less - resulting in more upgrades for us, the buyers!

Mazda, with a clear understanding of its Canadian market,

Says who?  This gen Mazda6 has sold worse in Canada than the two previous generations...  Sure success with Mazda3, Mazda CX-5.  But not with the Mazda2, Mazda5, or CX-9.  The sales are low on the MX-5 due to it being around so long, when the new one comes out, sales will pickup...

Extensively refreshed?  No manual e-brake, heated rear seats, and a new touchscreen.  I hope the performance has improved.  That is the weakest link in my car.  It looks and sounds fine, but does a lot of stupid stuff.  Never plays the song where you last left it, come on!

Doesn't look like the outside has changed, and the interior materials still look the same.  Glad there is nothing there I really want.  As both rear seats have child seats on them, so they wouldn't notice the heated seats.  And I like the manual e-brake.

Can you detail some of the stupid things your car does?  It does seem odd it won't leave off playing where you left it.  What else?

Been awhile since I played with it, since I find it frustrating that it would act this way, I said f*ck it.

The voice dialing is a pain, the sequence has to be so precise. Just faster to press the speed dial on the phone.   I can't just say "phone holly cell"

Certain USB sticks it doesn't recognize.  Can't remember if its a FAT32 or NTFS, as I have both, and there is size limitations.  So I play a song from a USB stick, shut off the car, go back in, it starts from the very beginning!

Ipod connection load time.

I am guilty of not reading the manual on this one.  But the system is supposed to be able to read texts, and you can select certain preset texts.  But when I get a text when driving, it won't display it on the screen.  Just a huge message saying text received.  Click view, says your driving.  Fine I get it, so why stick a message up there.  And I can't get it to read texts...

Here is a link.  I don't have iOS or Android, so I don't know how they perform with it...

So it's just the infotainment that sucks about your car?  Nothing funny mechanically?

Just the infotainment.  It sounds good, and easy to navigate, but some software glitches.  Other than that car is great.  Little filthy... But I don't loose sleep over it.

And as stated before.  Pissed of MY2015, you could not get a Mazda6 GS in Red Soul standard.  Only with automatic! MY2014 it wasn't like that, and it's not like they ran out.  It's just not available... With manual you are limited to like 4 colors in the GS trim, you can get the red with the GT though.  I would make that jump if the diesel and or wagon was here!  ;D

yeah right, $300-$400 when changing out the deck of the Odyssey.  $600-$800 to change out the deck of the Mazda6, to get a large screen.  And besides I am not touching a lease car.

I think the CX-5 looks a bit more grown up now, but not really 'stylish', IMO.

Nice updates, but I don't think I would call it "significant".  Loving the updated optional headlights, though.

Not really sure how their sales of the 6 are but I just don't see a lot of these cars on the road. They may need an engine upgrade option with a bit of a boost(no pun intended) in power over the standard 2.5L. The car is definitely very attractive which is not enough to win over buyers of the Accords and Camry's it seems.

Last month, they sold 3.7k in the US compared to 26k Camry and Altimas. It was even outsold by the Legacy, with just under 3.9k sales.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

for 2014 in Canada the only mid-size vehicle that sold worse than the Mazda 6 was the Subaru Legacy and that was only 99 units difference.  The Accord and Camry sell over 5 times more.
Accord - 16,962
Camry - 16,029
Mazda 6 - 3,023
Fusion - 18,472

Why is that?  Never shopped a Mazda store, but are they hard to deal with?  Pricks during and after the sale? (my neighbour would disagree, he LOVED dealing with the one in Wpg.)  No room to move? "We sell the best" (obviously yo don't sell, anything...not in this segment) so "therefore you pay full MSRP"?  Or is it the complete lack of any power in a car that size? Maybe lack of servicing dealers?  There's nothing that's not at least 100+ km away from here.  If they'd 6 it up or put some pressure into that 4 pot...would it make any difference?  Or is it: test drive the 6, Accord & Camry (Fusion too?)...and whoa! YTF would I 6 myself?  Just wondering...such a nice looking car, kinda sad that it sells in such low numbers.

I think it's just a general disinterest in the 6. Comparatively, the 3 and CX-5 sell in huge numbers.
