Such was the case when this one came across the desk. Jonathan: “Hey JacobNoto, there’s an event in Quebec in Janu–”
“Yep, mine. I’ll take that”.
“But it’s SUVs.”
“Hmmm, maybe I shouldn’t hog all the winter launchesSTILL MINE!?”
“They’re Suba–”
“Done. Mine. I’ll take that, thanks”.
^^ fixed for next time.
Don't get me wrong, I'm appreciative of everything you guys have given me!!!, but you've read my post about this weekend - I'm all booked, going, and am doing the car rental with dreaded all-seasons. I'm very afraid (funny thing, those Winter Tires, how they give you that sense of safety...). So, to see that you got Subies with Winters in Quebec, I'm just floored with jealousy...that's all...and that I could have gone on a road trip with my bestie!
We whined about the CVT (because we’re auto journalists and if we don’t the other auto journalists get suspicious and ask if we float like a duck then burn us for witchcraft)
Classic, Jacob. Classic.
My issues with the interior and the infotainment system have now been addressed with the next generation of radio and user interface in the Crosstrek – bravo Subaru!
I didn't know the interior updates came to the Crosstrek! Very exciting!!!
Rapid U-turn completed we headed back to the entrance of the driveway but silly me drove past it by mistake. Three times.
Goddamn it, again, you now owe me a new keyboard...so filled with coffee
And if we’re honest, it’s the confidence you’re buying. Even in remote parts of Ontario or Quebec you can get to most things you want to get to with just about any winter-tire shod rig, be it SUV, sedan or otherwise.
^^ I think that's the best way a Subaru's charm has ever been put. I wish I could show you a picture of the steep hill Lady Noto climbs and descends each day to/from work, but Google Street View doesn't cover it (Coincidence? I think not). She says that every day she has to drive around folks who can't make it up/down those hills. I used to freak out and sit on the phone with her every day (bluetooth) until she was home, but the Forester takes care of her. I wouldn't even dream of owning any other brand.
