My SIL got a post mammogram call saying to come back for more tests.  Fingers crossed it's nothing.

Any news yet?  And hopefully good!

Im down, Gurgie? Scaerio? Tortoise?

I can pick you up in the Alfa if you want to give it a short drive on the way to drinks.  :)
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Any news yet?  And hopefully good!

She went in for a round of tests last Friday, and part way through the radiologist sent her home, saying the rest weren't needed. That sounds like good news?  I think?  She hasn't had a consult for the results yet. Soon I think.

The cancer news with a friend of mine isn't as promising. She had a large brain tumour, and I mean the size of an orange large. Five years ago she had incredibly invasive surgery, but a small part of the tumour remained. They give her periodic MRIs and the lat one showed a small amount of growth.  Ugh. She's only in her mid 30s, FML.  They do have treatments that are new even in the last five years, so fingers crossed it owes well.

I always wonder how that happens....something the size of an orange that doesn't bother you...until it does.  And only then it's discovered.

^^^. No kidding. It finally started to affect her vision. Unreal that something so large can grow inside your head and your body can devise work-arounds so for that long.

Here’s hoping that the consult reveals no problems, and yes, fingers crossed for your friend.

So Sunday is probably the best for me as I have dinner meetings on Friday and Saturday. Unless we do something earlier in the day.

I could probably meet up on Sunday afternoon/evening for a pint or 2.

My daughter came out of an early morning fitness class in the Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver to find 2 windows smashed out of the Rogue and the car ransacked.  >:(
