My wife dropped the car off today and rolled on home in a new XC60 T6.

Nice, will be interesting to compare the two.

A great shame that VAG can't/won't do the same deal with APR as Volvo with Polestar.  They would have my money.

Not pleased. Don't think they were able to do anything about it since the double sided tape has taken already. >:(

The result appears little different from the original.

Clearly properly resolving this will require a new bumper + new body kit, which they are trying to avoid paying for. While I understand that motivation, the bottom line is that I paid a lot of money for a properly done car.

I hate that kind of thing...A shoddy effort by some indifferent lackey tech...and a dealership who doesn't want to make it right.

Have you considered purchasing a Mercedes?  ;)

That sucks but in reality that lip is going to get ripped up/off and deformed on a parking block or curb in the near future. It can't be avoided. ;D

Well, no dice. They put the car up on a lift and there is solid evidence that the part was aligned correctly but that its just a bit crooked somehow.

Bad luck I suppose. Would have to call Volvo but I doubt they'll do much. The rest of the kit appears to be installed quite well.

Leaning towards forgetting about it. Life has bigger issues to deal with. Still love the car.

Also here is the XC60 loaner. It was a nice ride, better sunroof than the V60 and a power lift gate. Amazingly it had the Tech package but no Xenons. Volvo lack of standard xenons is shocking as is dealers ordering cars without them IMO.

It drove rather well too. I could see myself liking it as a family hauler, I kind of like the higher driving position for just relaxing. For the price would have to cross shop a MDX though.
