Nope, wasn't me.

Whoever's car you saw though, they've got great taste. :)

:rofl2: it was a salt lick...if it was you then an explanation would be required  :)

Rats. The dealership made a boo boo when installing the body kit. The front lip isn't sitting flush on one side (pics to compare).

Debating if I should bring it back. Part of me wants it fixed because its annoying, but not sure if I want to go through the hassle. Also I think drilling and glue were involved so not even sure how easily fixable this is... :(

Once the baby arrives I'll probably be too tired to care.

Get it fixed or you'll be worrying about it for 8 years.

Zoom in. Its where the silver part meets the front edge of the bumper. 2nd pic has a large gap, its 1.5 or 2 mm.

Ok I see it now. I don't know. I'm picky too but that does not look like a big gap. Plus you run the risk that the dealer will make it worse.

Hmm. I will send an email tomorrow and see about how conveniently this can get done.

I might have to leave the car with them for a few days and, horror, drive the GLK.

But yeah, bring it in. Your brand new $60k+ Swedish masterpiece deserves better. Are you gonna start a new Moan'nWhine thread for the Volvo now?  ;D ;D

Their screw up, they should give you an S60 or something.  As a premium car brand, a shuttle isn't good enough.

+1

Not only not good enough, it's unacceptable. You've just dropped $50 large on a brand new car, one that's in its first model year. You need to be treated like a king by this dealership. Volvo has never ceased to amaze me with their customer service though; my other half's XC70 is getting up there in both age and mileage and the dealer always gives us excellent treatment.

My wife dropped the car off today and rolled on home in a new XC60 T6.
