I'm excited about this truck.  To be honest though, after my Dad's experience with his I wouldn't by one until they are proven once again, which would be take about 5 years of solid reliability statistics.

Too late IMO. With Ram already through the gate with their 1500 EcoDiesel Nissan will have their work cut out for them to gain market share with this truck. Titan has basically not been redesigned or even half refreshed in 11 years. Along with the below average reliability of these trucks most buyers have simply gone elsewhere.
