I REALLY like the looks of this one. Think I'll have to get a job so I can buy one since we might be needing a second car and Miata is always the answer.

Miata is always the answer.

Yes.  It.  Is.

Not understanding what Mazda is doing with the CX-5 front design.  Why is it not in line with the new CX-3 (which looks so sleek/nice) and why making it a fuglier version of the Forester?? Did the same design studio do the CX-5, CX-3 and new Miata? Looks a like someone missed an important meeting...  Yikes.

A neat promotional video from Mazda promoting the 50/50 weight distribution of the new Miata.

I agree, the front is not my favourite of the newer Kodo designs... They considered making it look more like the Kodo designs we've seen on the Mazda 3, Mazda 6, etc., but decided it would be not "suitable" for a miata, so ended up with this.

But I think, overall, it looks pretty good. :)

Plus, knowing it's so light, so nimble... and that I already have an NC - which is the heaviest, fugliest miata generation - and don't care because I love it so much, I'll be eventually forking over $$ for this generation, I just know it!

But I will wait until they come out with a Mazdaspeed or the 30th anniversary edition of the new one. I have adopted "two" many miatas already and cannot bear to part with either of them for the time being...
