And here it is, finally. I have to say it was well worth the wait to factory order and get exactly the car I wanted.

Driving impressions from the first 30km: This. Car. Is. #$%ing Awesome. Its nice to be back in a manual and the power is fantastic.

The only option I got over the base 335i is M-Sport ($1900) and metallic paint ($900). In total, the car came out to $53K plus taxes. Since this is my first german car I decided to lease it for four years and see how it goes.

I love it!

Hannibal, sorry for being late to the party. I was out of commission (sick). I LOVE YOUR CAR!!!

Nice, congrats on a great choice!

Well, 4 years and 27,000 km later, my lease is coming up for renewal in the next two weeks. Love the car and have had zero issues.

Overall a great, classic sports sedan. So I'm buying it again :)
I love it when a plan comes together.

I was going to say - if you didn't buy it again this would have been the perfect 335 to purchase.

If I ever decide to sell it, I'll make sure to put it up here first...

They resolved most of the  engine/turbo issues by 2015.. you should not have a lot of problems.

Congrats (again) Hannibal! Hope you continue to enjoy it for many years 8)

Curious - have you driven a 340i since it came out? If so,  any noticeable differences?

I barely drive my car enough lol...so no, I haven't, though I can't imagine there being a big difference. A few more horsepower, but lets get real, this thing is fast to begin with...I think someone here (ST guy?) got a new 440, maybe they can comment.

Only 27,000km? :shake: I've put roughly 40,000km on my scooters and motorcycles since October 2014, with 12 months out of service due to gaps of ownership or having to rebuild an engine.

The car must be in pristine condition though. Pics please.

I was thinking about this today also.

2015 - 2018 (4 years) I've done almost 37,000 kms on my bicycle.

Man I did 800km in 5 weeks before my weird knee injury, in both knees, and I thought that was a lot. I wonder if I did too much too quick to my body. I was riding to commute so I did very little stretching which I think was the main cause of the injury. It wasn't the knees themselves, it was the muscles above the knee.

Could be a couple of things. Poor bike fit or riding in too hard a gear are the most common. I rarely stretch and have knocked off 2000 kms months.

^^ I hear you guys about the low KMs. I drive the car as often as possible. I drive everyday, to the GO and back. Weekend errands I usually take my car. But even so, we have everything within a 5 minute drive of our house. Family road trips we take the minivan.

Is it bad that I want a third car?
