We wanted better styling but they gave us different, not better. Though it's all subjective I guess. :)

Exactly, very subjective. I think the 2015 looks miles better than the current model. I do like the maw and the XSE trim. The interior leaves me cold but still better than the 2014, no question about it.
While I wouldn't consider the 2014, this new 2015 makes me stop and think again about my FGC aspirations - maybe, just maybe I should go for the XSE (which is more than I need for my daily commute) and put the $15k+ difference from any FGC towards paying off the mortgage.
I hate choices  :)

Did I bring Nissan in here?  Still, it wont happen ;)  Don't leave out Lexus buddy, that's even worse than Toyota, and considering the price.

You only hope if won't happen.  That concept car is still making the rounds and Nissan’s North America Chairman, Jose Munoz, recently said that the upcoming Maxima won’t be much different from the Sports Sedan Concept.  Better cross your fingers!

Someone is loving Lexus....sales are way up!  ;) Must be doing something right!  Maybe Nissan could learn something from Toyota...

WTF?

I had figured that if I could drive my Delorean to the year 2214 I'd find myself parked next to a Hover-Camry that could also exceed the speed of light and travel to distant galaxies BUT would have the same old LED clock in the middle of the dash somewhere.

 The trunk release lever in my 2011 corolla is exactly the same part as my dad's old 1990.... I wonder if they've changed that now  ;D
... the clocks are different (IMO 1990's looked better)

All this disdain pouring out from your keyboards and all over the poor Camry?  The interior looks way better than the Hodge lodge design of the pre-redesigned model. IMHO.

As for the exterior?  They had a winner two gens ago.  I'm not a fan of the current committee-penned design.  Bulletproof and reliable cars.  They'll continue to sell lots.

I'm yet to see it in person, but this is so far my fav. generation camry:

Port injection FTW, seriously. Time to buy a V6 while it can be.
Agreed!
