Depends on how you pronounce Brigitte...is it Bridge-Eat, or Bridge-Ette?
Bridge-It.
The point is that my name is RIGHT THERE above my avatar. ![:rofl2:](https://www.autos.ca/forum/Smileys/CarTalk/rofl.gif)
Where? I don't see it.

(just for SirO)
My point was that if your name was pronounced "Bridge-Eat" then you deserved to have your name misspelled because it sounds funny. ...but since your name is the proper Bridge-It, then Brigitte it is!
Well, America, you have 2 million people incarcerated right now. I bet they could pick a ton of oranges.
I like you, Mark, a lot.
The point is that it's hard to put people in jail because of the cost of incarceration. By having inmate cover their own cost, it opens up a lot more space in jails (that is, building bigger jails) and keeps criminals off the streets. Some criminals (like the Quebec driver that stopped for ducks) don't deserve to be in prison and should effect community service and other retributive services. Others, like the homeless drunk that stole a car and nailed my client to a wrought-iron fence, backed up, and ran him over again, have no money to contribute, but is a danger to society if released. He needs to be put to good use or culled <-- don't hate, you know it's true

Rapists/Murderers (not manslaughters) really shouldn't ever be released. It's hard to prove that they are ever "rehabilitated" (short of a lobotomy). So, howsoever money can be made towards the cost of their incarceration, it allows them to be held longer and therefore, in my books, is a great idea.
