The model he tested has the upgraded "Direct Adaptive Steering" option. He said you could get in on the $43K (3.7 AWD Premium) trim, so it was a great deal. Intrigued, I tried to build it but I couldn't add it to that trim without adding the $5700 optional navigation & tech package.  :(

This is the system on Steven's car -- his is the Q50S AWD Premium with the Deluxe Touring and Technology package.  I think the only way to spend more on a Q50 is to buy the hybrid.
I'd rather be car-poor than house-poor...

I'm late to the party but CONGRATS!  Beautiful car.  Infiniti has knocked it out of the park.

As a previous owner of the G35, the 37 & 50 are far above it and must be awesome. Congrats on a super purchase.

Thanks guys - again, this is not my car, but my partner's.  He's still getting used the the Q50, finding it much more mature than the G37, but I find it a much more refined and competent car.  As a passenger, and as someone who has not spent much time time in AWD cars, the advantages of AWD impress me more and me each time we use his car.

Just wait for winter and the AWD will really impress.

So just under two weeks after Steven dumped me, i had to drop by his house to drop something off.  In his driveway was another Infiniti Q50S AWD, except this one was a light slate blue metallic as opposed to gun metal grey.  Turns out it belongs to a 'skiing buddy/friend with benefits."  Perhaps if I could downhill ski and also drove a Q50 AWD, we'd still be together.

I have nicknamed both cars the "Q50 Spineless, Lying, Deceitful C0cksucker Edition".  Limited supply, Ottawa market only.  Available in 2 exclusive colours.

If that's all it would have taken, you're better off without him.  Sounds like he's got about as much depth as a thimble.   :shake:

I never liked the Q50 anyway  ;D

Would be my last choice in the segment:  S4 > 335i > IS > C Class > Q50

Sorry to hear that!  The dumping part, not the nickname part - that was hilarious.

Thanks for the good laugh! I'm sure you'll find someone better suited and more worthwhile to be with. I knew there would be issues when he couldn't turn on a TV! ;D

Also, I'm pretty sure you can ski. :D
