Looks like I’ll have a bean counter in the family! After taking a few bookkeeping courses, my oldest daughter has decided to become a CPA.

This is great news for a guy who is a business owner.  ;D

Nice! CPA is a great designation, I know quite a few people who have done very well starting out with a CPA.

Totally agree, as a fellow CPA I can attest that she will be very much so in demand and can go any number of ways.

I dropped my daughter off yesterday....but my little guy is a "young" 8 and he's not quite ready for a week of sleep-away camp.  But I least I get a break from them tormenting each other!  We plan to do a few special things with him this week to make up for it, and I'll probably end my work day early a few times to take him to mini golf, etc.

Fun times!

Mines are 8 and 11.   Yeah 8 is a bit young but my 11 is in the same camp and they both have 2 very close friends each in their groups  so they should be fine.  We did the same camp last year and my oldest loved it.

Wow, our kids are very similar in age.  My daughter turned 10 least week....

My kids are polar opposites...my little guy is shy and takes a quite a bit of time to settle into a new situation / make friends / etc.  My daughter got out of the car at camp yesterday and was immediately swarmed by returning friends and councillors, and she's likely the official "cabin leader" among the campers this year,  haha.

That's a lot of floating vegetation! Looks like you are in the Amazon or something

I'm struggling to positively identify the Lily. It looks like yellow pond lily, but in all descriptions I've read, the flowers are 2-3" across.

These flowers are 6-10" across. HUGE!

And yes, many of the areas I fish this time of year is covered in vegetation.

I was fishing for Pike in this soupy muck the other day.

How do you even retrieve a cast without getting hopelessly snagged?  ???
