Leaving for Dominican Republic tomorrow morning, bright and early, with my wife and 4 friends...tomorrows forecast for Fredericton tomorrow after we are gone...25-35cms of snow.  Literally the worst winter storm we have had this year and I won't be here to deal with it.  Today and the day before was pretty wintery also.  Been mostly spring weather for a few weeks and all our snow was gone.

Got my in-laws looking after the house and the pups, and our neighbor will look after blowing the driveway.  So it shouldn't be too bad for my in-laws.

Awesome - enjoy!

Looks like I've landed a gig within the same department as I'm currently working in. Nothing is fully finalized yet, but I met with the client yesterday & got confirmation today that they're starting on the paperwork to bring me on board. Working through a different agency this time, so I need to iron out the contract with them & the rate still as well. Looks like I'll most likely have to take a bit of a pay cut, but with all the BS going on right now with consultants working for the Feds, I'll take what I can for now. Next Thursday is my final day on my current project & it seems I'll have about 3 weeks off or so until the new role starts... oh well, get some spring skiing in while we still have some & hopefully golf shortly after.

Hey.  This is supposed to be the Little Things that make you happy!  Not big things!  Lucky you...nice car.

Here is my "little things" - my son says I'm a, a little old for this?  So what...should I keep them in a box like he does?  No!  I created my very own movable wallpaper!  (removable?) Have to click the link.  Hope it works.  And yes...I know...live wires!!  I'm in the middle of re-doing my office space in the basement, and well...the wall had to get done first!  Priorities man, men...(no women left here right?).

Congrats bud.  I'm sure this will mean some significant life changes but hopefully you'll still keep all those cool cars kicking around.

Congrats.  You'll obviously need a sensible station wagon now and your sports car days are over.

I suggest a Porsche Panamera GTS Sport Turismo...but do they come in beige?

He's got that covered! [emoji2]

Friday I had what was probably the biggest presentation of my career, in front of a large group of high powered people, and the months of late nights working through it all paid off....absolutely killed it. Made for a pretty great weekend  8)
