When the boy was 6 or 7, he asked if he could throw these little sticky "wall climbers" onto the kitchen ceiling.

But there was a catch: We had to promise not to remove them and to allow them to fall off on their own. Based on how long they were on his ceiling, we're looking at a day or two.

"We promise".

The boy turns 20 on Thursday.

We've kept our promise and the little men still reside on our ceiling.

I got a a new coffee mug as Xmas gift but I was expecting it too be to large to fit inside car's cup holder. First day back to office, I gave it a try and effectively, it didn't fit in, so I'll keep my old one for travelling and the new one, at work. I was sharing with a coworker the new mug being too large for my Volt's cup holder and reply me back, buy a F150 .. lightning, they should be larger! It makes me laugh, solid

That's a great way to truly start your enjoyment of football.  I take it she too is a Wolverines fan?

Been using our Costco Mastercard all year to use the cash back to buy a new TV.  Before and after, from a 10 year old 47 inch TV to a 70 inch smart TV.  Didn’t cost us a thing and we got the extended warranty.  It’s nothing special but it certainly is a big upgrade from what we were using as our main TV.  The man cave has had a nice 55 inch 4K TV for awhile so it was time for an upgrade.  This is what we bought, https://www.costco.ca/tcl-70%22-class---s470g-ca-series---4k-uhd-led-tv.product.4000197005.html

Worst case it shits the bed after the warranty runs out but that’ll be 6 years from now at the earliest.

TCL had a couple comparo wins or awards from Wirecutter. And I generally trust their reviews.

Yeah we bought a 50 inch TCL for my in-laws about 2 or 3 Christmas’s ago and it’s been excellent for them, and the little 32 inch in our gazebo is a TCL as well.

The only issue that we had with setting up this one is it being Google based and we are Amazon people, so had to do all that setup BS.  But the sound is so much better than the old one that I don’t think we even need our cheapo sound bar anymore.

Nice purchase, just remember to NOT leave it in VIVID mode and use one of the proper MOVIE modes.

Here I thought just hitting the power button was enough to watch a show.

Nice! Our bedroom TV is a TCL - about a 55". It's not bad, the Roku interface takes a bit of getting used to but it's a good piece overall. The downloadable IPTV app is absolute horse sh*t compared to the ones on the downstairs Samsung/LG units. This is a third party app, however, so no fecal matter being thrown at TCL for it.
