Conventionally, wisdom dictates that Toyota sells a buttload of the Camry because it's a vanillamobile.  This refresh will probably offer revised steering, suspension, and styling to offend half of its potential customer base, clearly.

It's a facelift. They do it mid-cycle every generation.

The 1987-1991 Camry got a facelift for '90. The 1992-1996 got a facelift for '95. The 1997-2001 got a facelift for '00, and the '02-'06 got a facelift for '05, and the '07-'11 got a facelift and new engine in '10.

Just cosmetics, maybe trim changes, freshening, and MAYBE a new transmission. The new car isn't expected till '17.
